The process of collecting and evaluating clinical information in our center has several significant advantages and is based on a multifactorial assessment of health and analysis of existing complaints. Quite often, existing complaints are limited to two or three main ones, but we conduct an analysis that allows us to identify associated background conditions, treatment of which, can significantly improve general condition and reduce severity of main symptoms.
HOW IT WORKS
Our aim is an individual approach in setting final and intermediate treatment goals, improving quality of life for our patients.
The schedule is arranged as follows:
Before you start using one or a combination of different neuromodulation options, an initial consultation is conducted by specialists of our center. The duration of this consultation is one hour. Complaints, anamnesis, and analysis of available medical examinations are being collected. Depending on the existing complaints, associated diseases neurophysiological examination (EEG, EMG), multifactorial clinical questionnaires and scales, assessment of neurological status are carried out. General information about the tDCS and taVNS methodology is provided, specifics of using these methods in each case are discussed. Based on the results of the initial consultation, a primary report is compiled reflecting the study’s results, their interpretation, recommendations, and a neuromodulation plan.
5-10 in-clinic sessions are mandatory, duration of each session is 30 minutes. Assessment of primary and possible side effects, training on How to use your device (downloading the application to your phone, setting up, step-by-step instructions for preparing and conducting a neuromodulation session) are carried out. If necessary, additional methods are selected to improve the treatment process (recommendations on diet, relaxation techniques, rehabilitation, etc.). After finishing in-clinic sessions, an individual neuromodulation plan is drawn up, which is provided to a patient.
After the first and second months of neuromodulation, follow-up visits are conducted. The main purpose is to evaluate achieved results and to form a neuromodulation plan for the next month. The duration of each follow up visit is 1 hour. Specialists of our center carry out a full range of studies, including neurophysiological techniques (EEG, EMG), which were performed during the initial examination. Follow-up report is compiled reflecting the dynamics of symptoms and neuromodulation plan for the next month.
You can always contact our specialists and get clarifications on current issues at any stage of treatment.

Installing the device. No special preparation is required. Our specialist will implant and set up a stimulating electrode in a certain area of the auricle, install the stimulator lock in the supraclavicular region and activate the device. You may feel a pulsating tingling in the area of the installed electrode.
After installation is completed care recommendations are given.
Battery of the device is designed for 3 weeks of uninterrupted operation.
In some cases, it may be necessary to change the side of stimulation. A stimulating electrode is installed in the opposite ear, the same stimulator is used, a new electrode is installed.
Depending on each clinical case specifics, duration of the therapy ranges from 3 to 6 weeks.
