What is tDCS?

tDCS stands for transcranial direct current stimulation and it works by placing two or more electrodes on the scalp and sending a weak current between them. This in turn targets regions of the brain that affect neurological, mental and chronic conditions. Our headsets reinforce naturally occurring brain signalling by delivering weak currents (2 mA) to specific regions pf the brain, via electrodes placed on the forehead.

How does the treatment work?

Upon arrival at our center, our neurophysiologists will note down your medical history and do a clinical examination. This allows us to tailor your treatment plan and monitor and monitor your progress through the device's application. The stimulation procedure usually lasts 30 minutes and is pain free, with only a very small amount of users reporting a very slight tingly or itchy feeling under the underneath the electrodes.
