Experience multidisciplinary teams, advanced neuromodulation treatments, and seamless medical travel support.
Our international patients typically travel to Cyprus to our clinics for specialized treatment. However, when travel disruptions made it challenging for some patients to visit us, the International Patients Initiative was launched. Chief Neuromodulation Officer Petros Kattou and our multidisciplinary medical team will travel to our Partner centers to see patients. Locations include Berlin, Vienna, Switzerland, Egypt, Greece, Turkey, The Bahamas, India, Malaysia, and Australia.
International Patients who wish to receive treatment at our clinics, have to fill out the Book Your Consultation form on our website. Then, our International Patient Management team will contact them with the next steps and assist with every step until the patients complete their treatment.
After the consultation booking is made, international patients come to SOZO Brain Center in Cyprus and start their treatment as planned.

On the first day at SOZO, the Clinical Assessment includes psychological examinations, blood tests, brain MRI, and brain mapping to fully assess the patient's current health state. Neurological status is assessed through neurophysiological tests, clinical questionnaires, and scales, depending on the patient’s condition. The findings are summarized in a primary report, along with an individualized neuromodulation treatment plan.

International patients undergo in-clinic sessions throughout the week with multiple neuromodulation devices based on the patient's personal treatment plan.. Our specialists monitor any side effects and train the patient on using their neuromodulation device. This includes step-by-step guidance for patients and their accompanying family members to conduct stimulation independently at home.

After completing the in-clinic sessions, the patient purchases their designated device according to our doctor’s instructions. Then, they continue their treatment at home according to their personalized neuromodulation plan provided by the specialists.

A follow-up visit, lasting one hour, is scheduled after the home treatment phase. Specialists repeat neurophysiological tests performed during the initial assessment. Results are evaluated, and if necessary, an updated neuromodulation plan is created for continued care.
Neuromodulation treatment is vigorously proven to support treatments of various neurological, chronic and mental diseases and disorders. This includes, but is NOT limited to:
