Our Technologies

SOZO Brain Center pioneers in the field of brain stimulation. Our devices provide an extensive line of treatment solutions based on each patient’s unique condition.

tDCS

transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (tDCS) involves applying electrodes on the scalp to stimulate the brain areas which don’t function as they should.

taVNS

transcutaneous auricular Vagus Nerve Stimulation involves applying low electric current to stimulate the brain via electrodes placed on the ear.

How Neuromodulation Works

Real progress begins with the right solution. Get your own personalised treatment plan.

SOZO Step 1

Step 1
Examination

During an hour-long initial consultation, our team gathers a complete medical history, complaints, and details of previous medical exams. Neurological status is assessed through neurophysiological tests (EEG, EMG), clinical questionnaires, and scales, depending on the patient’s condition. The findings are summarized in a primary report, along with an individualized neuromodulation treatment plan.

Step 2
Stimulation

The patient undergoes five in-clinic sessions, each lasting 30 minutes. Our specialists monitor any side effects and train the patient on using their neuromodulation device. This includes step-by-step guidance for patients to conduct stimulation independently at home.

Step 3
Home Treatments

After completing the in-clinic sessions, the patient purchases their designated device according to our doctor’s instructions. Then, they continue their treatment at home according to their personalized neuromodulation plan provided by the specialists.

SOZO Step 4

Step 4
Reporting & Evaluation

A follow-up visit, lasting one hour, is scheduled after the home treatment phase. Specialists repeat neurophysiological tests (EEG, EMG) performed during the initial assessment. Results are evaluated, and if necessary, an updated neuromodulation plan is created for continued care.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Neuromodulation, and how can it help me?

Neuromodulation is the process of regulating nerve activity in the brain. It can relieve symptoms for mental and neurological conditions as well as chronic pain. If other treatments haven’t worked for you, Neuromodulation might be an option to help improve your quality of life.

If you’ve tried other treatments for your condition without success, you may be a good candidate for Neuromodulation. Our specialists at SOZO Brain Center will evaluate your medical history and current symptoms to determine if this therapy is right for you.

Most Neuromodulation therapies are painless. During your session, you’ll be in a comfortable setting while we apply non-invasive bain stimulation on you, either through electrical stimulation or magnetic pulses, to the targeted area. Our team will ensure you feel at ease throughout the process.

Results vary by individual and the specific condition being treated. Some patients notice improvements after just a few sessions, while others may take several weeks to experience significant changes. We’ll monitor your progress closely to ensure the best outcome.
Neuromodulation is generally safe, but like any treatment, there can be side effects. These are usually mild, such as a slight headache or skin irritation, and they often go away quickly. We’ll discuss all potential risks with you before starting therapy and provide support to manage any side effects.
Neuromodulation is often considered when other treatments haven’t provided sufficient relief. It’s a unique approach because it directly targets the nervous system to adjust how your brain or nerve function. Many patients find it more effective, especially when other therapies haven’t worked.
The duration of Neuromodulation therapy depends on your specific condition and how well you respond to treatment. Some patients require ongoing sessions, while others might only need it for a certain period. We’ll work with you to create a plan that fits your needs.
Yes, Neuromodulation can often be combined with other treatments you’re receiving. We’ll carefully review your current medications and therapies to make sure Neuromodulation complements them safely and effectively.
Getting started is easy! Simply contact us by phone or through our website to schedule a consultation. During your first visit, we’ll discuss your symptoms, medical history, and treatment goals to determine the best approach for your Neuromodulation therapy.
