Last weekend, sunny Miami played host to a powerful gathering of minds at the Neuromodulation Workshop 2025, a two-day event that brought together a diverse group of healthcare professionals—from neurosurgeons and internists to chiropractors, dentists, family medicine doctors, and osteopaths. The workshop focused on the fast-evolving field of neuromodulation, offering participants a rare opportunity to explore cutting-edge techniques that are reshaping the treatment of neurological and chronic pain conditions.
What made this workshop unique was its multidisciplinary approach. Attendees from a wide range of medical backgrounds came with a shared goal: to understand how neuromodulation therapies can complement and elevate their patient care strategies.
During this two-day workshop, participants entered the world of non-invasive neuromodulation treatments—with a strong emphasis on Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (tDCS), transcutaneous auricular Vagus Nerve Stimulation (taVNS) and Transcranial Pulse Stimulation (TPS). Topics included:
- Live demonstrations of device operation and real patient protocols on live patients
- Neuromodulation applications for conditions like Parkinson’s, ALS, Multiple Sclerosis, Dementia etc
- Personalized treatment planning and patient selection criteria
- Mechanisms of action and scientific evidence behind various neuromodulation technologies
- Integrating neuromodulation into diverse medical practices—from dental and chiropractic settings to neurology clinics
One of the most impactful elements of the workshop was the hands-on training sessions. Participants were able to work with neuromodulation devices and observe treatment protocols on real patients. This gave attendees a practical edge, equipping them to begin integrating these techniques into their own practices immediately.
With such strong interest and overwhelmingly positive feedback, plans are already underway for future workshops in other major cities.
